CRLA Tutor Certification (and the associated course LE 1240) are described below. Tutor Certification is offered by SLCC as an interdepartmental cooperation of Trio/Student Support Services, the Learning Center, and the Disability Resource Center.
Certification is achieved by attending the workshops, completing some assigned tasks or homework, participating in practicum tutoring, and maintaining good grades.
The materials required for the class LE 1240 and the associated CRLA workshops are found below. If you are interested in attending, just come to the workshops on the SCHEDULE, contact Christie Bogle, or a contact a tutoring supervisor for more information.
